Filtered aircraft remain as muted dots for context. Selecting an aircraft highlights it and fades surrounding traffic. Clustering keeps wide-area views responsive; use Show individual aircraft when you want to inspect every matching marker.

Local ADS-B receiverOptional fast local feed
When LOCAL_ADSB_URL is configured, the private server can merge nearby receiver positions into the map while OpenSky remains the wide-area history collector. If the receiver is unplugged or unavailable, the map falls back to stored OpenSky collector data.
Status and errorsNo issues
No errors have been reported during this session.
A private server stores global OpenSky positions at credit-aware intervals, adds higher-frequency local ADS-B observations when available, and removes them after 12 hours. Selecting an aircraft loads its current route segment by default; only a confirmed ground stop starts a new segment, while airborne coverage gaps remain labeled within the route. The full selected history option restores its complete retained trail. Optional visible-aircraft trails are limited to 30 minutes. Cached mode uses the visible map area without spending query credits. Live mode uses a one-credit area around the map center and displays its boundary. Green trail dots and lines are stored observations; amber smoothing and projected movement are approximate. This dashboard must not be used for navigation or safety decisions.
